I am very sorry for your loss. Even though I did not know Roy personally, I know how it feels to lose someone you love. It can be hard to find comfort at a time of great loss, but knowing our Heavenly Father is near to those broken at heart and crushed in spirit can help us with the pain we feel. (Psalms 34:18) He promises to soon swallow up death forever and wipe away all the tears from our faces. (Isaiah 25:8) It is my wish you will find comfort and hope from these words from the Bible.

I am very sorry for your loss. Roy was a very good childhood friend and cousin of my mother, Mary Allen and her sister Betty. We will keep all of your family in our prayers. While I had only met him once or twice while I was a small child, in speaking to many of my Aunts and Uncles and their cousins recently, I have come to learn that he was greatly loved and adored by all of them who will remember him fondly.

My Mother Betty Allen was your Dad's cousin. My cousin Jesse has recently sent us wonderful pictures of your Dad, Wesley, my Mon and Aunt Mary Sherwood. Mom told me me that your dad and Wesley were her favorite cousin and they shared many good times. I am sad for your loss and please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Much Love, Libby Hunt Lexington, SC 29073
