We were lucky enough to have met Bobby when we first moved to Sandwich two and a half years ago. He was one of the nicest guys we have met. He opened his house, pool, and life to us. We are better off for knowing Bob and we will always remember his laugh, smile, and voice. God bless him and his family. Josh Rogers.

My daughter took Bobby's passing very hard because he was the type of guy who never met a stranger and was kind to everyone he met. I will miss his smile, twinkle in his eye, and his infectious personality. Our lives will forever be changed for having known him. I pray for peace and comfort for his family during this time. Just know he was truly loved by so many, and he touched more lives than you'll probably ever know. May God bless and be with you all.

Our thoughts and prayers for the family..Bob was truly a nice person..our son Dave's friend..so was here with the guys...all the parents knew and liked him too. He took his Bobcat and took our heavy cement step from the front of our house when we built our new porch, many moons ago now...but one never forgets these things. He also dug out for our above ground pool when we installed it. Good times!! He was happy to do the job... God Bless you all in this difficult time.

I have been truly blessed to have had such a wonderful neighbor and friend as Bob Hyatt. From the first day I met him when I pulled up to 1407 N Autumn Ridge to the day of his untimely death he has been there for me and over the past three and a half years that I have lived here, I have found Bob and his family to have become a very important part of my family. We’ve shared many good times. We’ve worried together, cried together, confided in one another, shared countless meals together and most importantly, laughed together. I will miss the early 7:00 a.m. wake up calls with the leaf blower on summer Sunday mornings as Bob prepared the pool area for another day of fun. I will miss how he used to wave me off to work in the mornings and how he would wave and welcome the weekend with me on Friday evenings as I returned home. I will miss the stories he used to tell by the fire pit on warm summer nights and his laughter and shouts to the neighbors across the pond. I will miss the barbeques, the bean bag tosses, the cannonball competitions, the smores, enjoying good classic rock and roll on the radio, and being a part of living life with best friends. I will miss sharing Holiday meals together and meals to celebrate the milestones in our lives. I will miss hearing the distinctive rumble of his Harley Davidson as he fired it up for yet another ride which he loved doing so much. I will miss Bob’s phony indignance when the cops would routinely go to 1409 N Autumn Ridge because someone let off a firecracker in our neighborhood – Bobby you always got the blame for it, didn’t you? I will miss him forever pestering me about being a redneck Missouri hillbilly and yet, in spite of himself, he loved my Momma’s recipe for good southern tater salad! I always tried to let him know how much I appreciated him and hope and pray that he knew also how much I’ve grown to love him over the years. I love you Bobby. May you forever rest in peace, may God bless your soul, and may God bring your family comfort and peace in these difficult times. Peyton Jett, never doubt for a moment the love that your Father has for you. I miss you and I love you and if you ever need me for anything, all you have to do is call.
