Catherine Ann Zaborac, 78, of Sheridan, IL formerly of Lisle, IL, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at her home. She was born February 18, 1932 in Hinsdale, IL the daughter of Thomas and Marie (Wagner) Brooks. She married John D. Zaborac on September 3, 1953 in Chicago, IL.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Curtis) Bender-Draves of Mendota, IL and Lora Zaborac of Sheridan, IL; five grandchildren, Brittany Bender, William Bender, John Zaborac, Thomas Bender and Timothy Bender; three great grandchildren, Conner, Riley and Vivian; one brother, Thomas Brooks of Massachusetts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son-in-law, James Bender, and one grandson Corey Bender.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL with Rev. Andrew C. Hougan officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park in Willow Springs, IL on Monday. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 6th until the time of services at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
