Wanda J. Carr, 70, of Plano, Illinois formerly of Sandwich, IL passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born April 24, 1940 in San Angelo, Texas the daughter of August and Anna Piper. She married Herman Carr on November 1, 1955 in San Angelo, TX. Before retiring she worked at Western Electric in Montgomery, IL and Plano Molding in Sandwich, IL. Wanda enjoyed antiqueing, flea marketing and going to garage sales.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Rex) Olson and Patti (George) Hamill both of Plano, IL; five grandchildren, Marci (Pete) Tomac of Newark, IL, Terri (Eric) Stonecipher of Yorkville, IL, Daniel Olson of Plano, IL, Kara (Ronnie) Lewis of Pollock Pines, Ca and Meggie Olson of Plano, IL; one brother Bill Piper of Fort Worth, TX; three sisters, Noma Fae Allen of San Angelo, TX, Shirley Capps of Corpus Christi, TX and Linda Sue Piper of Campwood, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Herman; one son Michael Carr; two brothers and one sister.
